In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Plymouth is offering a £10,000 scholarship for international students to help fund their studies.
These scholarship schemes are open to only students of nationality/domicile of India, Indonesia, and Malaysia applying for postgraduate courses in the 2023-2024 academic year.

- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible to apply for this scholarship at the University of Plymouth:
- Applicants must be a passport holder of one of the eligible countries listed above;
- Applicants must have an outstanding academic record (e.g., 1st class degree holder or equivalent) – this is determined by our reviewing their transcripts and applying a grade comparison tool from Ecctis
- Applicants must have an unconditional/conditional offer letter from the University of Plymouth for one of the programs listed above.
- Applicants must be international students and/or have been classified as international students for fee purposes.
- Applicants must be full-time, University of Plymouth campus-based students.
- Applicants must be self-funded.
How to Apply
- How to Apply: Applicants must complete a GREAT Scholarship application form and send the complete application with the required documents to international.office@plymouth.ac.uk.
- Before completing the scholarship application form, applicants must already hold an offer from the University of Plymouth for September 2023 for a postgraduate taught degree program in one of the eligible programs.
- Supporting Documents: Once applicants have completed the scholarship form, then save it, and send it as an attachment with the following documents:
- A copy of their offer letter
- A copy of their final academic transcripts: If their final transcript is unavailable at the time of application, send the most recent or provisional results.
- One or two reference letters from a suitable source supporting this scholarship application: this must be a separate reference letter that they submitted with their main application of study)
